Working as an Intern in Performance Improvement and Finance within EY's Consulting Services offers a wealth of opportunities for professional growth and development. Your key responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
• Project Support: Collaborate with project teams on various consulting assignments, gaining hands-on experience in real-world business scenarios.
• Research: Conduct market research and benchmarking studies to support client projects, enhancing understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Reporting: Help prepare reports and presentations for clients, developing communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside professionals from diverse backgrounds, fostering teamwork and networking opportunities within the consulting field.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to conduct research and market analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian.
• Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility and maintaining communication.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and work in different teams.
• A high level of motivation and drive to start a career in professional services.

What we look for:

We look for candidates who demonstrate strong client and market focus, with a background in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields. Excellent communication skills in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian are essential, along with strong analytical abilities and proficiency in MS Office. Adaptability to new environments and teamwork are crucial, as is a high level of motivation to begin a career in professional services.
