Instrument & Control Engineer (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is currently seeking an experienced Instrument & Control Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the oil and energy industry, and have a passion for creating efficient and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems that meet project specifications
• Develop hardware and software for control and instrumentation systems
• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting of control systems
• Support commissioning and start-up activities of instrumentation and control systems
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure project objectives are met
• Participate in vendor selection activities in accordance with project requirements
• Design and implement control systems to improve safety and optimize operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical / instrumentation engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and energy industry
• Knowledge in commissioning and troubleshooting of field instrumentation. Familiar with SCADA, DCS & PCS Systems.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
• Certification in LOPA. Good DCS system hands-on experience including Yokogawa, Emerson, Honeywell, ABB,etc.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals
• Strong communication and analytical skills
