US Tax Compliance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Tax Assistant Manager to join our team in Baku. The ideal candidate will have the potential to grow into the role of a US Tax Compliance Manager within one year. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is eager to learn, advance their career, and take on leadership responsibilities in a dynamic tax environment.

• Prepare US individual, corporate, trust and partnership returns
• Lead a team of tax preparers and planners with varying degrees of experience.
• Act as Project Manager for special projects at the request of the leadership.
• Manage, mentor, and train Tax Associates and Senior Tax Associates.
• Manage IRS audit processes.

Requirements

• A strong desire to develop and grow into the role of US Tax Compliance Manager within 12 months.
• Must be willing to study and obtain the Enrolled Agent (EA) certification within the first year of employment. (For more information on the Enrolled Agent certification, please refer to the Internal Revenue Service ( website).
• Willingness to travel to the United States once a year for the tax season, for a duration of 7 weeks.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
