  • Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights. Maintain legal contacts through judicial processes, including labor law, antimonopoly issues, customer appeals (internal and external) and industrial relations;
  • Oversee the company's contract management process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and other third parties to protect the company's legal interests;
  • Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance. Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and promote ethical conduct within the organization. Handle legal issues at the group level, including M&A, tax, risk management, marketing, competition, and regulatory matters. Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including conducting risk assessments and implementing preventative measures to safeguard the company's interests;
  • Protect the legal interests of the Holding before the court. Manage and resolve legal disputes, including negotiations, mediation, and litigation if necessary, to achieve favorable outcomes for the company;
  • Coordinate secretarial and archival work within the Holding and assist the Holding’s representatives in shareholders' meetings and boards of directors (supervisory councils) to ensure proper performance of their functions;
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to various departments within the company on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to employment law, contract law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance;
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, regulatory authorities, and other relevant parties to effectively manage legal matters and achieve business objectives;
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company's operations and recommend adjustments to policies and procedures as necessary to ensure compliance and minimize legal risks;
  • Uphold high ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of the job, maintaining confidentiality and avoiding conflicts of interest.

Requirements

  • 3 years of proven working experience as a lawyer in a business environment, demonstrating strong analytical skills in interpreting legal matters and formulating strategic solutions;
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures, with a track record of successful negotiation and resolution of legal issues;
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders;
  • Master’s degree in law;
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in legal documentation, minimizing errors and legal risks (Attention to Detail);
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze complex legal issues and develop innovative solutions;
  • Knowledge of fluent Azerbaijani and English, Russian at an intermediate level;
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborate with colleagues from various departments, and contribute to collective decision-making processes;
  • Adaptability and resilience to navigate dynamic legal environments and stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations;
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
