Business Analyst

• Create periodic and ad hoc reports, presentations, and materials for senior leadership that clearly communicate insights and analyses.
• Develop comprehensive reports for corporate banking and insurance committees, including presentations and concise analytical summaries.
• Provide analytical support to Corporate Banking and Insurance Leads and Senior Leads in their daily operations.
• Assist the Director of Corporate Banking and Insurance department with daily tasks, helping to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning to evaluate potential outcomes.
• Analyze performance data, research papers, and presentations to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Provide support for budgeting, strategic planning, and the business planning process by delivering necessary analytical assistance.
• Perform periodic research on key business areas, summarizing findings and sharing them with stakeholders to support decision-making.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• A graduate degree (Master or PhD) or professional certifications (CFA, FRM, etc.) is a plus.
• Up to 3 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, strategic analysis or consulting. Industry-specific experience in the banking and insurance sectors is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial analysis and modeling, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools (DataIKU/ Tableau/ PowerBI)
• Knowledge of banking and insurance regulations, and ability to stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Fluency in Azeri, Russian, and English is essential.
