- Create periodic and ad hoc reports, presentations, and materials for senior leadership that clearly communicate insights and analyses.
- Develop comprehensive reports for corporate banking and insurance committees, including presentations and concise analytical summaries.
- Provide analytical support to Corporate Banking and Insurance Leads and Senior Leads in their daily operations.
- Assist the Director of Corporate Banking and Insurance department with daily tasks, helping to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning to evaluate potential outcomes.
- Analyze performance data, research papers, and presentations to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Provide support for budgeting, strategic planning, and the business planning process by delivering necessary analytical assistance.
- Perform periodic research on key business areas, summarizing findings and sharing them with stakeholders to support decision-making.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- A graduate degree (Master or PhD) or professional certifications (CFA, FRM, etc.) is a plus.
- Up to 3 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, strategic analysis or consulting. Industry-specific experience in the banking and insurance sectors is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial analysis and modeling, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools (DataIKU/ Tableau/ PowerBI)
- Knowledge of banking and insurance regulations, and ability to stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Fluency in Azeri, Russian, and English is essential.
