About the Role
Dentons Baku is expanding its legal practice and seeking a Senior Associate to join our dynamic and growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading global, national, and emerging companies across a wide range of industries, including corporate, energy, IT/telecom, banking, and finance.
You will be involved in large-scale and complex projects in energy, corporate and M&A, banking and finance, leveraging our global presence and local expertise. Additionally, you will play a key role in client relationship management, business development, and thought leadership, helping to drive the continued success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting high-profile inquiries, either as solicitor to the inquiry or for core participants.
- Managing complex legal matters, contributing to the firm's broader expertise.
- Collaborating with partners and key stakeholders to maintain and strengthen client relationships.
- Acting as a mentor and supporting junior team members in their professional development.
- Assisting in business development efforts to expand the firm’s practice areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Law with a strong academic record (foreign legal education is an advantage).
- At least 7 years of proven legal consultancy experience, particularly in transactions matters or M&A.
- Strong project management skills.
- Exceptional legal drafting and research abilities.
- Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani (additional languages are a plus).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in an international and fast-paced environment.
