Leading Auditor within PASHA Bank

• Participating in the implementation of audit, follow-up audit, and ad hoc audit projects in accordance with the approved Annual Audit Plan and as instructed by the Audit Committee;

• Implements highly complicated audit procedures to identify issues in internal control;

• Assists the project manager in developing the audit report.
• Participating in the development of a Work Program for the audit project;
• Implementing audit procedures specified within the framework of audit project (interviews with business process owners, collecting information from the audited entity, analyzing the obtained data, etc.) and informing the project leader about the identified deficiencies immediately;
• Developing a written working paper on the analysis and interviews performed during fieldwork;
• Participating in the development of the reports on audit projects;
• Monitoring the implementation of the action plan developed by the Management in order to eliminate the identified issues and deficiencies;
• Participating in the drafting of summary reports related to the activities of the Internal Audit Department as instructed by its Director;
• Taking part in the drafting of the Retain Management report ;
• Fulfilling other tasks assigned by Project Leader or the Director of the Internal Audit Department within his/her competence.

Requirements

• Higher education in economics or law (minimum 4 years of experience in related fields, if higher education is not in related field);
• Related work experience: more than 4 years in total and over 2 years in audit function;
• Good understanding of relevant industry and business processes for implementing audit procedures;
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal documents developed by the state executive body regulating the company’s area of activity;
• Strong analytical and communication skills;
• Computer literacy and being able to work with related software (MS Windows products, special auditing software);
• Ability to travel on a business trip;
• Must be fluent in business-level Azerbaijani and English.
